Breakfast

While my stay in Florence I started to feel that the Duomo was like a roundabout and it was surrounded by restaurants. Because I was staying right in front of the Duomo I picked out one of the many shops there to have my breakfast. I simply ordered a bagel and some coffee and sat down on the tables outside to admire the whole sight in the very early morning.

Another place you can definitely check out for breakfast or even lunch is Ditta Artigianale.

This place was personally recommended by locals and you can even buy some coffee beans from here!

As for lunch we went to Osteria De Peccatori and had the best seafood spaghetti and lasagne that left us drooling.

For an afternoon break I would recommend Caffe San Firenze they have the cutest desserts and Shisha if you’re up for experiencing something new!

And obviously you can’t be in Italy with trying Gelato, the ones at Venchi Cioccolato e Gelato or Venchi Cioccolato e Gelato are to die for!

A small tip for a quite evening, take your Gelato and head to Ponte Vecchio! find a spot and enjoy the sunset with various street music in the background.
